On September 29th SEBAC received a letter from the Undersecretary of Labor Relations regarding their choice to move forward with hiring the Boston Consultant Group to examine the State’s operational structure and offer suggestions on maintaining service delivery in the most effective and efficient manner.
SEBAC is deeply troubled by this development. We will not allow this process to violate our agreement — and of course the agreement contains a mechanism to assure that. We will fight to make this process what it ought to be — a genuine joint effort to convert our state government into a powerful force for progress on the core structural problems that are harming our people.
